O.D., F.A.A.O.
Dr. Roderick is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry with over a decade of experience in medical eye care, ocular disease management, and clinical teaching. A proud Indiana University Hoosier (B.S. Nutrition Science), she went on to earn her O.D. from Nova Southeastern University in 2012 and completed a rigorous residency in Primary Eye Care & Ocular Disease at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center — where she learned that eyes can tell you a lot about a person before they even say a word.
Certified in sports and performance vision training, she brings a rare blend of clinical depth and athletic science that most eye care practices simply don't offer. She also has a particular passion for dry eye disease — diagnosing it properly, treating it thoroughly, and giving it the attention it deserves. Outside the clinic, she's outnumbered by twin daughters who are — by all accounts — funnier than her. She skis, runs, plays soccer, travels whenever possible, and is fully committed to becoming a decent golfer (results pending). Catch her at a concert or a sporting event and she'll probably know all the words — or pretend to.
